US Open 2026 | Women’s Tennis Roundups, Results & Highlights
The US Open 2026 brings the world’s best players to New York for the final Grand Slam of the tennis season, with the women’s singles main draw beginning on August 30 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
Over two weeks, 128 players will compete for one of the biggest titles in tennis, culminating in the women’s singles final on September 12 at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Tennis Roundup will follow the women’s tournament from the opening round through the championship, with daily WTA US Open roundups covering the biggest matches, notable results, emerging stories and women’s doubles action.
WTA US Open 2026
The US Open has a character unlike any other Grand Slam.
New York crowds, late-night matches and the hard courts of Flushing Meadows regularly produce dramatic matches and unexpected runs. Early-round upsets can quickly reshape the draw, while the second week brings together the players who have survived one of the most demanding tournaments of the season.
The 2026 women’s tournament begins with three days of first-round singles matches from August 30 to September 1, followed by the second and third rounds and the Round of 16.
The quarterfinals begin September 8, the women’s semifinals take place September 10, and the new US Open women’s champion will be crowned on Saturday, September 12.
US Open 2026 Women’s Singles
The women’s singles draw brings together established Grand Slam champions, leading contenders and players looking for a breakthrough on one of tennis’s biggest stages.
Across the tournament, Tennis Roundup will follow the championship race while also looking beyond the biggest names.
That means covering the matches that shape the draw, significant upsets, comeback victories, emerging players and performances that could easily be overlooked during a tournament featuring dozens of matches every day.
As the field narrows, our coverage will follow how the championship picture changes from one round to the next.
US Open 2026 Women’s Doubles
Women’s doubles will also be part of our daily US Open coverage.
Alongside the singles tournament, we’ll follow notable doubles teams, important results and the progression of the draw through to the women’s doubles championship.
Doubles results will be included in the relevant daily roundups, with expanded coverage as the tournament reaches its decisive stages.
